I WENT TO THE MS RETREAT AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! It was complete with MARSHMALLOWS, SCREAMING, SINGING, and a WHOLE lot of CRYING. The crying part seems a bit out of place until you hear the entire story. So here it goes…

Over the weekend starting on friday i went to the Middle School Retreat. It was really amazing i was super shocked! The weekend started off with me being a porcupine!! GO FIGURE!! So after starting the weekend like a porcupine i knew that this weekend was going to be… Different. My dad lead worship and he got the whole crowd up and going!! SUPER EXITED!! This really was a good start to the weekend. The next morning we had worship again. This worship was really the one that hit me!! We sang He Knows My Name and i remembered last christmas when i was in india. The children at the children’s home sang this song and the second verse is talking about how God is our father. This just struck my how they are soo thankful for everything and i started to weep. Gentry was next to me and she just held me while i cried. then in our cabin i tried to tell them about my realization but i almost couldn’t i was crying to hard. But the afternoon was lightened up by a nice COLD swim!! It was really cold!!! Then that night i had some great fun at a camp fire!! First Anna started freaking out on this tight rope thing… which i saved her from!! Then me, Cyndy, Ben, Sam, and Abby played chubby bunny! The game started with just me Abby and Cyndy we got 5 marshmellows in!! Cyndy was like dying, she ran and spat it out. Then Abby started to die!! Then I started laughing so hard that i had to spit them out!! Then BEN joined our game!! THAT HAD TO HAVE BEEN THE MOST FUNNY THING IN THE WORLD!! Ask Cyndy I laughed so hard for the rest of the night. Then on sunday i took a walk on the beach and finished my day out with prayer.

That was the funnest time of my life!! Thank you all for making that retreat really special for me!! <3

Over the Summer I went to New York and watched 2 Broadway Shows, Wicked and Mary Poppins. i loved both of these shows I was amazed at the beautiful voices that the singers had. After watching it I was soo hyped up i really wanted to be a broadway singer so for the whole day i was singing all the songs. If you look behind me and my family there is the street name, Cherry Tree Lane.
